My name is Raf Tudela. I'm a product designer from Colombia with 14 years of experience designing digital products and experiences like mobile and web apps, SaaS and games focused on CX, UX and UI. I studied Industrial Design and specialized in Human - Computer Interaction.
I started by co-founding and running an interactive design studio in Bogotá, Colombia for four years in 2010. I directed many branding and digital projects for local and international clients in various industries: Logistics, tech, fashion, government, consumer goods, banking, and events. Some recognizable clients included LEGO, Levi's and Justice, among many other companies.
In 2015, I started traveling and working remotely as a freelancer. Since then, I've been traveling around, working remotely with clients in 5 different countries, spread among 3 continents designing mobile and web apps, SaaS and video games.
I'm also a certified design workshop facilitator and work as a consultant for start-ups and companies, helping teams create their products and achieve better interactions and engagement with their consumers, apply good design practices and create innovative solutions to prototype and test before going to market. I do this using Storytelling, Gamification and Design Thinking workshops. I also run Design Sprints to create new products or improve existing ones in weeks instead of months.
Finally, I'm also illustrator, I make comics and digital illustration for commercial and non-commercial purposes and illustrate children books. You can get my latest work here!
Not work related, I'm a musician. I play the bass guitar, ukulele and sing; launched 2 albums back in the day and I'm a ranked gamer (#14 in the country in Vietnam in 2021 for Super Smash Brothers Ultimate)
Haptic Festival brought 4000+ attendees in it's first edition in 2022 in Bogota, Colombia. Bringing big international artists in the scene like Oliver Koletzki and Klangkarussell.

Some quick gif capture of old interactive projects made for events. Please excuse the quality, I had to compress the format to be able to share here. Access to some of these files is restricted by the client. These samples are a bit outdated, they are from my business back in Colombia in 2013 - 2014
Client: Museum of Modern Art Bogota
